Multisport
This watch does everything you'll need for countless outdoor activities, and it's built tough enough to take any punishment you can dish out.
You can wear and use it for up to 37 days without recharging the internal battery, and the scratch-resistant Power Sapphire solar charging lens extends battery life even further. The watch case meets military standards for heat, shock and water resistance and the 1.4-inch display is 18 percent larger than older Garmin Fenix watches.

You can choose to use more traditional button controls, or you can activate the new touchscreen interface that makes accessing the watch's features simple and quick. The fenix 7X comes with pre-installed apps for trail running, cycling, swimming, skiing and more, plus a plethora of additional apps you can download from the Garmin Store.
A built-in wrist heart rate monitor tracks your exertion, while the Pulse Ox2 monitors your body's oxygen intake and breathing, and even tracks your hydration levels.
The Body Battery monitor lets you know when your body needs a break, so you can rest when you need to to optimize performance. That's all great when you're preparing for a hunt in the mountains, but what about in the field?
Hinterland
Domestically, you'll be guided by the watch's Multi-GNSS support, which uses GPS, GLONASS and Galileo to accurately track your location anywhere in the world. Download TopoActive maps, available for any location in the world, and take the guesswork out of navigation. The watch also includes a built-in altimeter, barometer and three-axis compass.
It also has a built-in LED flashlight in the watch case. That may sound strange, but you have no idea how often you'll use a small, powerful flashlight that you always carry on your wrist until you wear one for a while. Then wear a watch without it. You'll miss it.
And if you're picky about your watch band or want to replace it often, Garmin's QuickFit watch band system lets you change the band in seconds without tools. It's amazing how simple and effective the system is, especially if you've ever dealt with the spring bars used by traditional watch straps.
You can also connect the watch to your smartphone via the Garmin Connect app and it does everything that smartwatches do, while you can adjust all settings on the watch from your phone. There are a bunch of other features too – the point is that this is a pretty excellent wrist-based computer and GPS tracker at a great retail price.
