Liven up any Halloween party with this Green Halloween Punch! This three-ingredient Jello punch is the perfect mix of spooky and sweet. With just lime gelatin, Sprite, and pineapple juice, it’s a simple recipe, but can be customized to fit a variety of party themes. The vibrant green is sure to stand out at your party!
A colorful party punch not only satisfies thirsty guests, but it’s also one of the easiest ways to complement your party theme. This green punch is so versatile and makes an ideal Halloween Party Punch. Most green punches use lime sherbert or ice, but this recipe uses jello!
Using lime jelly works great for different Halloween concepts. Go for a monster theme as shown with googly eyes or use cups for a mad scientist or Frankenstein theme. Drizzle Gclear glaze around the side of the glass for a slimy look that would pair well with alien or zombie guts!
Ingredients for Green Punch
To make this simple Halloween punch, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- lime Jello (or other favorite flavor)
- pineapple juice
- lemon lime soda (I used Sprite)
Along with some water, that’s all you need! You can use other flavors of Jello gelatin if you want a different color and flavor. Grapes would be great for a “witches brew” or use orange for a traditional Halloween theme. The possibilities are endless.
How to make Halloween Punch
Making this green punch recipe only takes a few steps, so I’ll break it down for you!
In an extra large mixing bowl or punch bowl, add your lime JELL-O mix. Pour in a cup of boiling water and stir until completely dissolved.
Add cold water and pineapple juice and stir until combined. Pour in a two-liter bottle of Sprite and stir gently. *I highly recommend chilling the lemon-lime soda and pineapple juice ahead of time so your punch is served cold.
That’s it! Your punch is ready to serve! You can really have fun with this Halloween punch and make it fit the theme of your party.
How to make Monster Punch
Want to go monster themed with this green Halloween drink? It’s so easy to do! Take a clear plastic cup or glass and add some googly eyes. I’ve used this concept before for this eye feast. It’s simple but effective! You can use the traditional size or have fun with different sizes to gougly eyesIf you are concerned about small children swallowing plastic eyes, you can also candy eyes and stick them together using glucose syrup or a little bit of gel icing.
How to Make Frankenstein Punch
You could also go with a scientist party theme and call it Frankenstein Punch since it’s such a vibrant green color. To create a lab feel, serve it in beakers or various science equipment. (Make sure they’re safe for consumption.) I’ve done a similar concept before with this green punch with sherbert. I have a chemistry bar set I already had one, but it is no longer available.
Make a witches brew punch
Serve this Halloween party drink in a black cauldron and add different ice cube trays or your favorite spooky candy, like gummy worms or gummy body parts for a witches’ potion! (What kid wouldn’t love gummy eyes floating in their punch?)
Does Jello Punch thicken over time?
Yes! Any leftovers you refrigerate will thicken over time. This lime jello punch is meant to be eaten after you make it, without refrigerating it. (It won’t thicken if you leave it out at room temperature.) It’s still drinkable and delicious the next day, but it has a thicker texture that may turn some off. My kids really liked the new variation of a thick punch with flat soda. This combination created a very different drink, yet equally delicious.
Green Halloween Punch
Green Halloween Punch is an easy non-alcoholic party drink with just three ingredients. It’s simple to make and full of spooky fun. Serve it in goblets for a mad scientist theme or googly-eyed goblets to make a monster punch! It also works well for aliens, zombies, or witches’ brew! Either way, it’s sure to please guests of all ages.
