Calling all spooky season lovers: the iconic Large Jack O’Lantern Flame returns to New York today, Friday the 13th! We can’t think of a better way to kick off the spooky season, and this exhibit will be a special one, as The Pumpkin Blaze brings 20 years of family-friendly Halloween fun to the Hudson Valley. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze.
The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze in the Hudson Valley and Long Island is a must-see experience featuring intricately hand-carved pumpkins illuminated at night at two historic New York City locations. Families can witness life-size installations and synchronized lighting at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson and Old Bethpage Village Restoration in Old Bethpage. This enchanting, family-friendly event is a magical experience for all ages. The hand-carved pumpkins and beautifully lit displays amaze families year after year. It’s a New York City classic and is perfect for Halloween lovers of all ages.

Hudson Valley
Van Cortlandt Manor, 525 South Riverside Avenue
Hudson Valley is in for a treat with exciting new attractions that are sure will have you on the edge of your seat. Imagine a giant Kraken emerging from the Croton River and a delicious 20th anniversary pumpkin birthday cake.
This year, Hudson Valley parents can even make Halloween a date night destination by heading to Gourd & Goblet Tavern, a new speakeasy housed in an 18th-century inn. A separate admission ticket grants exclusive access to table service, with a choice of one alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage served in a souvenir cup, pumpkin empanadas, hot chocolate and the classic donut holes.
If you need more to book your night out, families can take advantage of the $20 anniversary rate this year from Monday through Wednesday after 8pm.
Long Island
The restoration of the old Bethpage Village is located at 1303 Round Swamp Road
The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze offers a thrilling experience for all ages. It features the newly renovated Long Island Hall of Fame, a spinning Ferris wheel with Pumpkin Pals, and a Day of the Dead tribute. This year’s Long Island location is also celebrating a big anniversary: five years of pumpkin fun. To celebrate, all children’s tickets are just $10 each night, a steal!

Recognition
General online admission tickets start at $20 for adults and $20 for children ages 3-17. Admission is free for children ages two and under. If you’re interested in the Blaze + Gourd and Goblet Combo, adult tickets start at $55. Historic Hudson Valley members get in free.
